"Moses, Reid, Sakho, Lanzini and Payet out"

Add to that Enner who isn't fit enough to start.

Net, a draw would be a fantastic result.

We have only managed three goals in our last 5 games and the injury crisis gets worse every week.

Can't see how we can get anything more than a point over the next month or so until our best players get back into action.

They are a very good team nowadays. Very hard to get anything today without our creative players :-(

Antonio brace will do the trick

Re: West Ham v Stoke City - Official Match Thread
I can see we will just play straight into Stoke's hands again today.
Previously we have just lumped the ball into their area with no effect as its bread and butter for their defence to mop up.
With little other options due to injuries, Bilic will be forced to play Carroll and can see they will have him in their pocket.
Whether the manager can come up with a tactical plan against them, with less tools at his disposal, remains to be seen.

Charley, ted, all.

I'm in Hong Kong, watching the game with FEH.

Hoping we can nick a win, but a draw won't be a disaster. It's all about taking your chances..

Irons!.

This will be a tight game, but I think we will nick this by the odd goal. Be great to keep another clean sheet.

Re: West Ham v Stoke City - Official Match Thread
stoke were brilliant last week

have a horrible feeling this will be an anti climax - they'll win 2-0, Shawcross will maim Zarate and not even get a yellow and John walters will take the piss scoring their second late on.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

COYI I can only see more injured players from this match as Stoke return to their clogging ways

Re: West Ham v Stoke City - Official Match Thread
these are the types of "winnable" home games we've been struggling in all season. Dont really see it being any different today, but I just hope we can do enough to sneak a win as we really need one.

Cheers charley.

Injury ravaged, out of form, expectations are for a loss or draw.

All that adds up to a nailed on win.

COME ON YOU IRONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Best team we could put out TBF
Tomkins has played well at right back but he'll have a dip if we play him there for long enough
A right back must be our top priority in the window

Stevethehammer 3:39 Sat Dec 12
Re: West Ham v Stoke City - Official Match Thread
No Shaqiri, big loss for them, quality player on his day and would rip Tomkins a new one.
Still need to watch out for Arnautovic.
